These fields focus on the comprehensive study of a set of biological molecules to provide insights into the structure, function, and dynamics of an organism or system. Current research in omics is extensive, exploring areas such as disease mechanisms, personalized medicine, and environmental impacts on health. Multiomics, the integration of data from various omics studies, offers potential applications in understanding complex biological interactions, improving disease diagnosis and treatment, and advancing drug development.
